| Lori is the daughter of Dig It Kennel partner Kari Arcand. Lori's love for animals has been visible since she was a small child. Our earliest memories of Lori looking after an animal came when she was only 7 years old. She had been asked to hold our horse Joy, she did even though Joy stepped on her foot. We asked Lori why she didn't scream, she said she didn't want Joy to get into trouble. Lori's passion showed itself once again when she started to volunteer at a big cat sanctuary. With in just a few days of being there, Lori was actively working towards her handlers license. To date Lori has well over 1000 hours with a variety of large cats and other exotic animals. Lori is currently just a few months shy of her dog trainer certificate and she enjoys all of her time here at Dig It and loves the challenge of "unruley" dogs! |
