Dig It Kennels is a family owned and operated business. We take great pride in our facility and the care given to our vacationing boarders. With so many franchise facilities opening, we feel the need to let the public know what we are and what we are not.
We are three generations of dog owners and dog lovers working here at Dig It Kennels. Our experience includes 18 years of breeding and showing AKC Champion dogs. Our family is not limited to pedigrees; we have been involved in rescue for 10 years and now keep two kennels allocated for just such a need. In trying to improve our education one of our family members is working towards her training certification.
We are a family who works hard to provide each and every boarder with a great Dig It experience, both mentally and physically. At Dig It we know your dogs name, they are not just a number to us.
We are a clean facility and take great pride in that fact. We work very hard to keep potty accidents from happening inside our boarders runs. We have someone inside the building 24 hours a day, so potty time is always available when the need occurs. No going potty where they eat and sleep at Dig It! We are not a facility who needs to constantly clean messes out of the kennels.
We are a facility that lets dogs be dogs during their stay. Our website states "Let them Run, Play and Be Happy". For us it is more than just words - we truly believe all our boarders can be happy here. We are not a facilty that leaves dogs in their kennel for long periods of time, where boredom and anxiety creates a very unhappy dog.
We are also very proud of the fact that we are fully insured, licensed, and Vet inspected. These things are not required by the State of Florida, so please check these things out with any facility before you leave your four legged family member with a kennel.
